Below are words, thoughts and feelings from the passionate NHL fans. We want to see a labor agreement reached and we are eager to return to the sport we love. Any delay falls directly on both the NHL and NHLPA.
If they strike I am done with the NHL. Not going to anymore games or paying anymore money to them. I'm sad I got my kids involved in hockey.

It's a Shame when Money gets in the way of the Love for the Game. How much money you need and want are two different things. The true fans are the ones punished.

Lets get honest. The issue is ~10 Players/team take way too much of the pie. Way too much. If they took half.. they would still be rich, tickets could be lower for small markets etc. To make a difference we need to stop pretending it is ok for these 10 players to be willing to shut down the whole game, put thousands out of work, etc etc. It is not in fans interest to always support the 'players' hi hi pay.

The players need to stop thinking they deserve more than the owners of the teams. a 50-50 split is fair and equitable. When they hired Fehr i knew this day would come, he is not a negotiator but a stick to one point type of guy. He does not care about the fans, just the bottom line for his posse. I am a long time Rangers fan: I attend between 12-16 home games a year. Plus I go to 2-5 games at the Nassau Mausolleum. Family of 4, plus usually I drag one of my son's friemds alomng with us. Once the Lock out proceeds I AM DONE attending games.

I just think that if the owners wanted to get costs under control they shouldn't have been doling out these ridiculous contracts in the first place. It's like they are saying "Please save us from our own stupidity". It's just really frustrating. Get the product on the ice!

Where I live, hockey is a way of life. We are still all going to play - but this does add a sense of gloom to the game.

All I have to say is that I'll always love hockey but I'm not going to love the NHL the same way.

I love the NHL but I cannot believe they may strike again. This makes me both sad and angry. At least I have football and, should it take long enough, baseball in the spring.

I just started teaching my kids how to skate and play hockey. They are the next generation of fans for the NHL. If the best in the game is taken away again, I don't know if it is worth building that enthusiasm in the NHL within them.
